What is SSC ?

The full form of SSC is "Staff Selection Commission".This is a central government organization that recruits for Group B and Group C posts in different ministries and departments.

Types of scc exam?

POPULAR SSC EXAMS:-

SSC conducts many types of exams, the list of popular exams is given below.

1.SSC MTS (Multi Tasking Staff):-For 10th pass students.

2.SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level):- 12th pass students can appear for this exam.

SSC CHSL exam is conducted in 2 tiers.

Tier 1 exam consists of 100 questions carrying 2 marks each. On the other hand, the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam consists of a total of 135 questions along with a Skill Test/Typing Test module. There is negative marking in both the levels

3.SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level):- As the name suggests, you can appear for this exam after graduation.

The SSC CGL exam is a multi-level exam consisting of four stages: Tier I (Preliminary), Tier II (Mains), Tier III (Descriptive), and Tier IV (Skill Test).

4.SSC GD (General Duty Constable):-This exam is for the recruitment of police forces

There are four sections in SSC GD exam (there are 20 questions in each section).

a)General Intelligence and Reasoning

b)Elementary Mathematics

c)General Knowledge and General Awareness

d)English/Hindi

5.SSC JE (Junior Engineer):- This exam is for engineering students.

6.SSC CPO (Central Police Organization) – This exam is for Delhi Police and CAPFs. If you also want to join Delhi Police or CARF then you can give this exam.

How to prepare for SSC exam?

a)Syllabus:-Whichever SSC exam you want to prepare for, see the proper syllabus of that exam and make a topic wise list.

b)Time Table :-To maintain consistency in studies, make a time table according to your daily routine and follow it so that discipline is maintained in studies.

c)Daily Current Affairs:-For general awareness, pay attention to news and current affairs.

d)Mock Tests:- Make sure to take regular question tests so that both speed and accuracy can improve.

e)Previous Year Papers:-Slow down the old years questions so that you can understand the type of questions that come in them.
